The FA have officially stated that Ashley Barnes, Burnley’s hitman, will not face any retrospective action for his horrendous challenge on Nemanja Matic. After this decision from the FA it is making it impossible for even the un-bias to think that there is not a #CampaignAgainstChelsea.
Chelsea seem to be the victims of many of the FA’s decisions. Hopefully the FA will use reasonable measures to decide whether or not Matic’s red card should be rescinded. It is of course a normal human reaction to get infuriated after you realize that such a tackles as Barnes’ could have indeed ended the Serbian’s career. Barnes also went into a heavy challenge with Branislav Ivanovic at the start of the match and no action was taken for that challenge either.
Many decisions have gone against Mourinho’s men this season and they must not allow bad refereeing to affect their performances.
