Piazon hints at Chelsea exit

Chelsea starlet Lucas Piazon has revealed his desire to stay at Eintracht Frankfurt beyond his current loan spell.

The 21-year-old’s time at Chelsea has been dominated by mixed loan spells and various injuries, and it appears that he has decided it may be time to move away from Stamford Bridge on a permanent basis.

The Brazilian is currently on loan in the Bundesliga and, once again, has enjoyed a mixed time at Eintracht Frankfurt.

However, Bild report that the exciting youngster is open to a longer spell in Germany.

“The Bundesliga was not good for me at first, being very physical and fast,” Piazon said.

But I learned and improved myself. I feel good. I want to stay.

These quotes were quickly supported by Bruno Hubner, Frankfurt’s sporting director, who said he can “imagine perhaps that Chelsea will loan him to us again.”

Piazon has made 15 appearances during his current loan spell, but has only seen himself start one game in the last three months.

Will Piazon ever ‘make it’ at Stamford Bridge?
