Following Chelsea’s early exit in the Champions League midweek against PSG, Jose Mourinho predicted his side will win the title this season.
Chelsea are currently five points ahead of second placed Manchester City.
The people who went out last Wednesday are the same who’ve been top of the league since day one. They are the same people who won the Capital One Cup and the same people who are going to win the Premier League.
Shortly after their defeat against PSG, Mourinho told the media he would be holding a meeting with all the players the following day to see what went wrong.
It is believed he has had this meeting and is determined to close the Champions League chapter and be mainly focused on the Premier League.
The only thing to speak about the Champions League is that if we win the Premier League we are top seeds next season. What we can do now for our club is to win the Premier League. Our situation is good. Everybody would love to be in our position.
“If we win the Premier League and the League Cup it’s a brilliant season,” added Mourinho.
