Chelsea’s central defensive midfielder Nemanja Matic has been superb since he was re-signed by the club last season and last night he demonstrated his attacking ability in Serbia’s 2-1 loss to Portugal.
Matic scored a magnificent equaliser, as he reacted quickly to score a stunning over-head kick to make it 1-1.
Unfortunately for Serbia, two minutes later Portugal scored again to go 2-1 up and they then went on to win the game. Chelsea fans however will be intrigued to see another side of Matic’s game. Hopefully fans will see a similar goal from him at Stamford Bridge.
