When Lionel Messi suddenly started to follow Chelsea players on social media a few month ago, it fuelled speculation of an early exit from his club Barcelona.
It seems after Barcelona’s 6-1 win over Rayo, Lionel Messi decided to catch up with former teammate Cesc Fabregas as the pair were spotted at Harrods. The 2 players are very close, from when Cesc was at Barcelona.
They were later joined by former Barcelona and Chelsea where they were out enjoying some pizza in Knightsbridge before heading to Harrods.
Fresh from scoring a hatrick earlier in the day against Rayo Vallecano, Lionel Messi was accompanied by his girlfriend Antonella Rocuzzo, who is great friends with Fabregas’ partner Daniella Semaan. The quartet then spent the night at Colony club.
Messi’s has had trouble with hounding by the Spanish Tax authorities and it is believed he remains unhappy with coach Luis Enrique. Some people may see this  as catch up between old friends, where as others know that in football anything can happen when it comes to a transfer.
