Horrible footage has emerged of Arsenal, Manchester City and Manchester United fans chanting sexist abuse at the Chelsea club doctor, Eva Carneiro.
The clip was broadcasted by the BBC last night and you can clearly hear some of the fans chanting:
Get your t**s out for the lads
A video uploaded on Vine, has been circulating through social media, with Arsenal fans chanting:
” Have you ever had gooner up your a**e”.
This kind of behaviour prompted anger, especially amongst the Football Association. They have urged supporters to report sexism abuse should they witness it. Meanwhile Chelsea Football Club has issued a statement for an end to sexism.
One of their spokesman said:
“The issue of equality is one we take extremely seriously and we abhor discrimination in all its forms, including sexism. Such behaviour is unacceptable and we want it eradicated from the game.”
Helen Grant, who is the Sport minister was very shocked by the events and said:
“It is absolutely right that we champion and celebrate women who work in the football industry and play vital roles in making the game the success that it is.”
