In Diego Costa, Chelsea seem to have found someone with an eye for goal and can put the ball in the back of the net.
However that doesn’t seem to be enough for Mourinho, as reports have emerged of the London club being favourites to sign Brazilian starlet Kenedy from Fluminense.
According to reports, the Brazilian Club have been discussing the sale of the ownership of Kenedy to an investment company ahead of his move to Chelsea.
The reports also claim that the Blues will pay €8 million (£5.87 million) for the 19- year-old, which will be split between the two selling parties.
Kenedy, who has scored two goals and made five assists for the Brazilian U -20 National side, made 20 appearances in the League last season but managed just two starts.
The Manchester United target, who can either play wide or through the middle, is likely to favour a move to London due to the presence of fellow Brazilians at the club and find it easier to adapt to life in the Premier League with their help.
Additionally, his Brazilian agent Giuliano Bertolucci, is the agent of Ex Chelsea star Deco and also the agent of Chelsea’s current Brazilian stars Oscar, Willian and Ramires.

Chelsea have already been knocked out of the UEFA Champions League by French side Paris Saint-Germain but have won the Capital One Cup and are on course to win the Premier League title with a 7 point gap at the top and the luxury of a game in hand.
As the Blues look to become a force in Europe again next season, they have been linked to a number of signings in the midfield area including Paul Pogba of Juventus, Athletico Madrid’s Koke and even Gareth Bale of Real Madrid.
However, the news of the arrival of a young talent like Kenedy will be welcome news to the Chelsea fans who would love to see a young talent finally flourish at the club.
