Chelsea look at £32m La Liga hit man

Chelsea are set to make a move for Atletico Madrid’s Antoine Griezmann this summer, according to the Metro.

The Frenchman has previously been tracked by Manchester United, who remain interested, but Mourinho’s side have now emerged as competitors for the front man’s signature.

Bayern Munich are also believed to be interested in Griezmann, having emerged as one of the most sought after wingers on the continent.

He won’t come cheap though, with the Spanish champions unlikely to part with him for less than £32.5 million, but all clubs interested have large transfer budgets to work with.

Chelsea, who look set to claim the Premier League crown, will be looking to bolster their attacking options from midfield, which is one of the few areas of their side that has come under scrutiny this season.

Eden Hazard’s brilliance has often masked the lack of goals from Oscar and particularly Willian, but it won’t be something that Mourinho will have missed as he looks to strengthen further ahead of next campaign.
