Jose: Ready to fight together

Five more wins and one draw from our remaining 8 matches will see the Blues crowned champions for the first time since 2010, I can’t remember the last time I saw a team leading from the start to finish.

We have often felt very hard done when crucial decisions have not gone our way but we always seem to pick ourselves up. This weekend was no different instead of playing to the whistle our midfielders looked to the referee expecting a free kick for a foul on Hazard. This resulted in stoke not been closed down quick enough to level terms with what could probably go down as goal of the season.

“We believe in ourselves,’ Jose said.

We have strong mentalities. We try to cope with the difficult moments we have during the whole season. This is a difficult moment but it’s a difficult moment that we can handle in the best possible way. We are ready to play; we are ready to fight, to suffer together.

After we lost Costa the belief was still there and Chelsea managed to pull together to find the crucial winner. It’s Chelsea’s togetherness and their team spirit that has separated them from most teams. After losing Costa after 11 minutes Jose was quick to absolve his medical team of any negligence or wrong doing, he went on further to defend Fabregas and Matic against critics.

“For me football is not just mathematics, and when some people write that Fabregas has dropped his level because the number of assists are not the same, the number of assists are probably not the same because the player that he assists doesn’t score, I think he’s playing wonderfully well for us.”

I never had doubts about his importance for us in the team, and Matic, he was suspended, and after the suspension he was injured celebrating in the final, so he went back and he was not in the best condition.

The fans need to take a cue from the manager and defend the players through their unwavering support especially when things are not going our way. Blue is the colour.
