Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane has revealed his admiration for Chelsea star Eden Hazard, and admitted the Spanish giants are constantly keeping an eye on the brilliant Belgian.
Hazard has been the star man for Chelsea this season, racking up 18 goals and 14 assists across all competitions so far, which have helped Chelsea all but secure the league title.
The 24 year old was also recently nominated for the PFA Players of the Year award, which he is widely expected to win, and Zinedine Zidane isn’t surprised.
“I enjoy everything he does on the pitch. I like the way he carries himself, that decisive streak in him and the fact that he’s improving every year. He can still get better too”, the Madrid legend said.
There are players I keep an eye on and who I like a lot, like Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo… I like Eden Hazard a lot too.
“I think he’s a big reason why Chelsea are on top of the table.”
Hazard recently signed a new 5-year deal at Chelsea and has often spoken of his desire to stay in West London, so it would take a huge effort to prize him away from Stamford Bridge.
The winger has consistently been linked with various clubs over the last two seasons, including PSG and Real Madrid, and is certainly Mourinho’s prized asset.
