Eddie Howe delighted to sign Christian Atsu

AFC Bournemouth coach, Eddie Howe believes his side will benefit hugely from the signing of Christian Atsu who they just signed on loan from Chelsea.

Last week, the Ghanian winger left Everton taking to Twitter to thanks the club and the fans.

This is a new chapter for AFC Bournemouth as they secured promotion to the Premier League but also for Atsu.

His manager is delighted to have him in the team and believes he will help the squad due to his experience.

“I think he is a player, although he is a younger player, he is a player with outstanding experience when you look at his career he has had.”

He has had a lot thrown at him : Porto, Vitesse, Chelsea, on the international stage.

Eddie expressed his joy of securing the move for the 23 years old as other clubs were also interested.

“We are loaning a player of huge potential, again we had to fight off several other Premier League clubs to get him, so we are very, very pleased. I think he will bring pace and ability to beat a man one-v-one which is very important in the Premier League, so for all those reasons I think he is a great signing for us”
