According to the highly reliable German media outlet BILD, Borussia Dortmund are already looking for a replacement for Ilkay Gundogan. The paper are reporting that  Dortmund have been flirting with Anderlecht’s, Youri Tielemans. The 18-year-old midfeld target has had a consistent season in the Belgian league, which has seen him linked to many clubs around Europe, including the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool and now Dortmund.
Although the youngster has only just signed a new contract, moving from the club is very possible. It only means Anderlect will get more money for his sale. However, should Dortmund sign him, it means Chelsea target Ilkay Gundogan who has also been linked to Manchester United and Arsenal can then complete his switch.
This is a big opportunity for Chelsea to sign the German, if the reports that Mourinho is interested in him is true. With the West London club only having Oscar likely to leave, signing Gundogan will make a lot of sense. It can be argued that he is injury prone but, let’s face it, no player has a big injury and is out for a year and not have niggling smaller injuries after his return.
You can strongly expect Gundogan to overcome his injury problems and to become as good as he was before the injury. Considering he is likely to be available for as cheap as €15m or £10m, it will make a lot of sense if Chelsea sign him. His signing will mean Chelsea will have someone who can partner Matic or replace Matic capably when necessary.
