Monaco want Chelsea youngsters as part of Falcao deal

Ligue 1 side Monaco are keen on signing Mario Pasalic and Charly Musonda on loan from Chelsea, as part of a deal that could see striker Radamel Falcao join the Blues on loan next season.

According to The Telegraph, the deal for Falcao is all but complete, and the French side are looking to sign the two Chelsea youngsters in an attempt to finalise the move.

And the father of promising 18-year-old Musonda, Charly-senior, believes his son would benefit from playing first-team football regularly next campaign.

“Charly must absolutely leave Chelsea and, since January, Monaco have been trying to sign him. Monaco are not alone, but they truly want him.

“Chelsea don’t want him to go back to Belgium. They want Charly to play in a good team in a big league. He must play for a first team.

“He progresses every day, but he must develop further. Technically he’s always been good but he still has much work to do on a physical and mental level. He’s paying attention to this aspect of football.”
