Mourinho drops Falcao hint

Whilst speaking on a Latin American TV show, Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho dropped the biggest hint yet that Colombian striker Radamel Falcao could be on his way to Stamford Bridge this summer, with the Portuguse boss looking to bolster his attacking options.

The 29-year-old striker spent last season in the Premier League, on loan at Manchester United. It’s been widely reported that his current parent club AS Monaco can’t afford his wages any longer.

Mourinho is fine with taking a risk on the Colombian, with it suggested the striker could be moving to West London on a one-year-deal.

“If I can help Falcao reach his level again, I will do it!” said Mourinho.

It hurts me that people in England think that the real Falcao is the one we saw at Manchester United.

It’s fair to say that the Manchester United fans were constantly behind Falcao, who only managed four goals at Old Trafford last season.

Chelsea boss Mourinho also had something short and snappy to say about the future of another Colombian star – Juan Cuadrado.

“Cuadrado is not going anywhere this summer”.
