The agent of Chelsea winger Juan Cuadrado has hit out at rumours suggesting his client could leave Stamford Bridge this summer.
Cuadrado, 27, has struggled to make an impact since joining from Florentina for £23.3m in January and is reportedly being lined up by a number of Italian clubs this summer including Champions League finalists Juventus.
However, according to the Colombian international’s agent Alessandro Lucci, has no intention of leaving.
“Cuadrado is a Chelsea player, who Mourinho strongly wanted just over five months ago and the coach truly believes in him”, he said.
He has many admirers but I reiterate that Juan is a Chelsea player. I, as his agent and intermediary, will decide with Juan his future, nobody else will.
Having only made 4 starts and no goals or assists in the premier league since joining the club in January, Chelsea fans and the player himself will want to see better performances next season.
