According to the Teeside Gazette, Middlesbrough have signed Kalas on a one year loan deal from Chelsea. After the deal was completed this morning, he will now fly out to Marbella for their pre season tour. After a successful 4 month loan spell with Middlesbrough last season, the club decided they wanted him to stay for a further year.
At the end of last season he stayed on at Middlesbrough after his loan expired to train with the first team and support them from the stands in the play-offs. He also told the club and his desire to stay on for another year.
An official confirmation from the clubs should be imminent.
