According to the Daily Mail, Mario Pasalic is poised to join Monaco on loan from Chelsea, that’ll give the Radamel Falcao to Stamford Bridge move the green light.
Pasalic joined Chelsea last summer, and is set to join the Ligue 1 outfit, having had his medical today.
Last season, the Croatian international was on loan in La Liga with Elche, scoring three times in 31 appearances in the league, as the side finished 13th.
Falcao is keen to return to the Premier League following his loan with Manchester United, who didn’t want to use their clause of making the Colombian’s stay permanent.
The ex-Atletico Madrid striker only manager four goals under Louis van Gaal, who wasn’t interested in paying £43.2m to keep El Tigre.
However, his previous season hasn’t put Jose Mourinho off, and the Portuguese manger is tipped to help Falcao revitalise himself, and become deadly in front of goal once again.
Mourinho said last month:
‘It hurts me that people in England think that the real Falcao is the one we saw at Manchester United,’
‘If I can help Falcao reach his level again, I will do it.’
The 29-year-old striker is set to join Chelsea in a deal worth £7m.
