Mourinho to use Super-Agent Jorge Mendes to sell Cuadrado

According to the Express, Jose Mourinho is desperate to sell Juan Cuadrado this summer. Mourinho wants to gain back as much of the £23 million that Chelsea spent as possible.

Chelsea bought Juan Cuadrado from Fiorentina last January, but he failed to impress during his time at Stamford Bridge.

Cuadrado is a quick Columbian winger, but only made 4 starts for Chelsea in six months at the club.

In order to help him with the sale, Mourinho has hired Jorge Mendes, who has been involved in many high-profile deals.

It is reported that Chelsea want to sell Cuadrado quickly in order to move on to their other targets. Chelsea have been rumoured of having interest in Athletico Madrid’s Antoine Griezmann and Arda Turan of late.

Mendes has been involved in many of Spanish side Valencia’s deals lately, and apparently is looking to send Cuadrado out on loan to the side.

With reinforcements coming in this summer, Cuadrado will have to improve greatly to gain time or be ready to be shipped out.
