According to Football Italia, a whole host of Serie A sides are interested in signing Chelsea’s Egyptian winger Mohamed Salah permanently.
Inter Milan, Juventus, AC and Roma have all expressed their desire in signing the out of favour midfielder, who hasn’t, and probably won’t make his break into the Premier League champions starting XI.
Salah spent last season on loan at fellow Italian side Fiorentina, but the Italian media outlet have reported that the Egyptian will certainly not be signing in Florence on a permanent deal.
Salah’s representative Ramy Abbas told Telelombardia:
Mohamed will go back to Chelsea now, but I can assure you he will 100 per cent never return to Fiorentina.
“He has offers from other foreign Leagues, but if he leaves Chelsea then it’ll be for a return to Italy.”
“Inter and Juventus? No comment, they are two great clubs, but first they have to speak to Chelsea.”
“I can confirm their interest in Salah, but Milan and Roma are there too. These are the four clubs in the running.”
Which one does he prefer? I cannot answer that question now.
Fiorentina have threatened Salah with legal action, because of a €1m clause that could have seen the winger sign in Florence permanently. However, the Club have reported Salah missed the deadline, which makes the clause void.
