Wallace to join Serie A side on loan

According to the ever reliable Italian journalist Di Marzio, an agreement between the Premier League champions and Serie A side Carpi FC has been made for young Wallace to join the latter on loan.

Wallace is a Brazilian right back that Chelsea signed in 2013 from Fluminense. He was sent back out on loan to his former club once the deal to Chelsea had been finalised, and spent the rest of that season there.

Wallace’s first game in a Blues shirt was in the Asia tour of July 2013, and impressed with his quick feet and his willingness to get up the pitch and support his team-mates attacking.

August 2013, Wallace signed a loan deal at Serie A side Inter Milan, where he featured infrequently. Last season, the Brazilian youngster was loaned to Vitesse Arnhem, where he started 16 games, came off the bench seven times, and even netted once.

Let’s hope Wallace will show his potential at Carpi across the next season, and Jose Mourinho can see what he is missing out on!
