Chelsea ‘open to loan’ Cuadrado to Italian giants

According to reports from Sky Italy, Chelsea are now open to a loan move for winger Juan Cuadrado, after the Colombian’s agent, A. Lucci, demanded that a move should be permitted [Di Marzio].

Chelsea are reportedly coming around to the idea of allowing the Colombian – who has struggled to impress in a blue shirt since joining last January – to leave the club on loan, and may use the winger in an exchange deal to bring another player to the club, as it would comply with Mourinho’s ‘one in, one out’ policy.

It has been reported that the majority of the interest in the player has come from Serie A, and in particular giants Juventus, who see the winger as a suitable addition to their talent-packed squad.

Cuadrado was seen as an ideal replacement in January when Andre Schurrle left the club, but has since only started one Premier League fixture, before being withdrawn at half time, and is yet to complete 90 minutes in any competition.

The Colombian’s situation at the club has added to the increasing worries in the Blues’ transfer window, and with only a couple of weeks left, Juan Cuadrado could be heading back to Italy.
