Jose’s presser: Manchester City

Blues boss Jose Mourinho has spoken to the press prior to the game on Sunday at Manchester City. As you can imagine, a hot topic was that of the issue between the manager and the medical department.

However, before the conference took place, it was told that Mourinho will read a statment regarding the situation, and will not answer any questions. Here’s what the Special One had to say throughout his presser:

On Jon Fearn and Eva Carneiro…

First of all I want to say I have a fantastic medical department led by Dr Paco Biosca, I have a good relationship with them. Everything after the match can be different, especially after the meeting I had with my medical dept yesterday. Dr Fearne and Dr Carneiro will not be on the bench, but doesn’t mean for rest of season.

On team news…

Oscar is a doubt, he had a little injury in training. Courtois is suspended, apart from that it’s all good.

On transfers…

The transfer window is open until the end of August. We will do things when the right time to do so. Chelsea fans can’t complain about transfers under Abramovich. The year people were disappointed that we didn’t buy a striker, we bought Diego Costa the year after. It’s not always about now.
