Chelsea’s new signing Marco Amelia believes Chelsea are still in the race to win the title. Chelsea have had an unusual start of the season as they have won just two of their opening eight games.
While Chelsea’s dressing room seems in danger, Jose Mourinho has been the first one to come under scrutiny and was recently fined by the FA for comments he made.
However their new signing, Marco Amelia who plays as a cover for Asmir Begovic, thinks differently and decided to remain positive. He spoke to Chelsea TV and this is what he had to say,
I hope to win. I want to win. I’m a winner. I’ve won titles at all the teams I’ve played for in my career. Now it is a strange situation for Chelsea but I think we can do better. And Chelsea, in January or February, will be with the top team of the season.
