Chelsea football club has announced the signing of former AC Milan goalkeeper Marco Amelia.
The goalkeeper who started his professional career at AS Roma has been signed as cover for the injured Thibaut Courtois who is ruled out for two months.
The 33-year old has been handed the No. 32 jersey after and will be available for the team to face Aston Villa on October 17 at Stamford Bridge.
He spent four years with AC Milan and before moving to Serie B side Perugia.
He has spent the last few weeks training at the club’s training grounds at Cobham and Chelsea after completing the necessary paper works for the Italian international announced the deal on Twitter saying,
