Chelsea vs Liverpool: Predicted line-up

This weekend brings one of Chelsea’s biggest games of the season. To continue their Premier League matches Chelsea are playing Liverpool at Stamford Bridge on Saturday 31st October at 12:45 (GMT).

I think the team will look similar to the team that played on Tuesday against Stoke away. We played a strong team which we will need to play on Saturday.

Striker

Diego Costa

Costa has been performing well lately and even thought there is still some doubt over his availability for the match due to a rib injury from the match away against Stoke. He is awaiting a fitness test to see if he is available. I think he will play in our sarting 11 if fit to play if not I think that Remy will get the chance to play in his place.

Midfielders

CAM: Ramires

Ramires has been playing well over the past few matches. After signing a new contract this week which will see him playing at Stamford Bridge until 2019. I think he will continue playing in the starting 11 as he is doing a good job so far and I think he will continue to if he is given the chance to, which is why I think that he will continue in the starting 11.

CDM: Nemanja Matic

After his one match suspension away to Stoke I think he will come straight back into the team. This is because he is the spine of the team and connects the team together well. This makes him a vital player for our team and gives our team stability which is what we need at the moment.

CDM: Cesc Fabregas

I think he will be selected in the starting 11 as he has been consistently chosen in our staring 11 despite his dip in form. His form also looks like it could be starting to pick up again along with the team as he looked like the player that we had last season.

RM: Eden Hazard

Hazards form is going to pick up again and like Fabregas return to the player that we had last season. I don’t think he will be dropped to the bench as a player of his quality can’t be left on the bench. He brings alot of pace and goal scoring opportunities to our team which is what we need.

LM: Willian

Willian has been playing well in the past few matches and has been a player that has stood out. He brings pace to our team and again goal scoring opportunities which we need.

Defenders

LB: Kurt Zouma

Zouma will continue his Premier League run for Chelsea in place of the injured Branislav Ivanovic. This will be great experience for him as he is getting his chance to show his worth in the starting 11. He will bring alot of pace to the team which is what our team needs he is also makes our defence stronger by having the ability to run and mark players.

CB: John Terry (Captain)

Terry will again lead the team out as our captain. He controls our team well and keeps our team focused and telling the team what they are doing, where they are supposed to be and who they should be marking. He connects the team well and helps to play a vital part in being the spine of the team. I can’t see him being dropped as he plays such a vital role in the team.

CB: Gary Cahill

Cahill will start as he works well with John Terry and the rest of the team. He also keeps the defence solid and will mark players well and get the ball off of any player that stands infront of goal just like John Terry. I can’t see him being dropped as lately he has not made any costly mistakes.

RB: Cesar Azpilicueta

Cesar Azpilicueta plays a vital role in our defence and is consistently in our starting 11. He also connects well with the rest of the defence and the rest of the team. I can’t think of why he would be dropped from our starting 11 he is a very consistent player in our team and always plays well.

Goalkeeper

Asmir Begovic

Asmir Begovic will continue to be first choice goalkeeper while Thibaut Courtois is out due to injury. Asmir has done a great job so far and I can’t see him being dropped to the bench for such a big game in our season.

Subs:

Marco Amelia, Baba Rahman, Traore, Kennedy, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Loic Remy, Oscar
