3 potential reason for Chelsea’s poor start

Chelsea have got off to their worst ever start in the Premier league and after their 3-1 defeat at home to Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool, Mourinho is the one who should be blamed? Here are my 3 potential reason’s for our bad form:

Cesc Fabregas

You may think this is a bit far fetched but I have a reason. When Fabregas joined in the 2014 summer transfer window, Mourinho said that he hopes to build his team around the Spanish maestro and at the start of the 2014/15 season we were in spectacular form mainly because Fabregas was pulling the strings and making assist’s left, right and centre but when his form dropped, so did the teams. Fabregas is notoriously known for going ‘missing’ in the second half of the season and our performance’s showed that as the club started to scrape results to win the Premier League title. Last season after 11 games Fabregas managed to get himself 1 goal and 9 assists. In those games he was sensational and what else was sensational? The team’s performances. But this season after 11 games Fabregas has only got 1 assist and the team’s performance’s have been dreadful.

The Board

This is probably the biggest factor for our poor performances this season. During the summer transfer window the club was linked with the likes of Antione Griezmann, John Stones and Paul Pogba.  The club ended up signing Pedro who has struggled in recent weeks at Chelsea but taking into account he has also been injured. The club also signed a miss firing Radamel Falcao who’s loan deal could be cancelled in January and after spending the latter months of the transfer window chasing John Stones, we ended up signing Papy Djilobodji from Nantes who has only played two or three minutes for Chelsea as he came on as a stoppage time sub against Walsall in the Capital One Cup. Michael Hector was signed from Reading and was sent straight back to the club on loan. The board made the massive mistake of selling Petr Cech to a rival club and the Czech international is two clean sheets away from breaking the premier league clean sheet record. Chelsea are in need of a game changer as in previous years they had the likes of Drogba and Lampard but now when we are in trouble we haven’t really got anyone who could save us with Hazard and Costa both off form.

Jose Mourinho

The special one has been under a lot of pressure this season with his team’s performance being underwhelming  but could he be the reason for the bad form? Potentially. Mourinho has burnt out his player as he literally played the same XI for forty plus game’s last season, it also didn’t help that we started our pre season really late and before our game against Arsenal we had played a game in America on the Wednesday and the Community Shield was played on the Sunday so the players would have been knackered. Mourinho has also failed to notify that his tactics aren’t working but he hasn’t changed it so far, team’s have worked us out so the tactics need to change. Chelsea are in need of stability and Jose Mourinho is the man but he needs to change his tactic’s quick or he will lose his job. Apparently  this weekend a well sourced quote on BBC 5 live sport from a unnamed first team player saying “I’d rather lose than win for Mourinho” so this could mean Jose is losing some of the dressing room.
