Should Jose bench Hazard until we rediscover our form?

With just one goal to his name in 18 appearances across all competitions should Jose bench our worst performing midfielder Eden Hazard and use him as a super sub? What if Chelsea try to grind out results and give our star 30 minutes of game time until he re-discovers his scoring touch? Confidence is on an all-time low in the club at the moment and from the statements made by Fabregas during the international break we get the sense everyone is trying their best.

Things aren’t working out and the results aren’t doing our performances justice. We’re playing better but aren’t having any luck. When things are going your way, you flick the ball with your heel and it flies into the top corner, whereas now every pile driver is going off target. Either way, we need to get back to winning ways sooner rather than later.

Looking forward towards the visit of Norwich on Saturday my preferred front 4 for this must win clash would be Remy, Kennedy, Pedro and Willian. Costa has been very ineffective when Fabregas has not been playing well and that’s why I would go with Remy.

For CDM I would start with Ramires and Ruben Loftus Cheek. I don’t think it would be wise to tinker with the defence at the moment until the results start coming right. The defence seems to be getting better, our biggest challenge at the moment seems to be scoring the goals.

Fabregas and Hazard could be more effective coming off the bench to give the team a fresh attacking dimension against these well organised defences, and I feel that period when defences need to re-organise could be the only gap we can manipulate to grind out results.
