Chelsea vs Bournemouth – Players to watch

My three key players to watch today as we take on Bournemouth at the bridge are Ivanovic, Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois.

Ivanovic and Hazard put in a solid performance last week in our derby against Tottenham. Ivanovicc statistically emerged the best defender winning the most arial challenges and after all the stats where tallied up like successful tackles, interceptions and pass accuracy he was the best defender on both sides by a clear mile. The question in most peoples minds is, is Ivanovic back to his usual best? That’s the answer we could get today.

Another player of special interest is Eden Hazard. The Belgian has been stuck on 49 goals for Chelsea for a long time is this the day he finally hits a major milestone and puts his name in a unique class of Chelsea legends? His form has improved and he was unlucky last week after some heroic stops by the Tottenham shot stopper.

Another major player we look forward to seeing is the return of Thibaut Courtois to the starting line-up after a lengthy injury spell. The challenge for Courtois is the team has finally began registering successive clean sheets, so he comes back expected to maintain this momentum.

My prediction is Chelsea will meet a very packed and organised defence, which will make it harder for players like Costa to find the back of the net. Chelsea have also struggled to score goals from open play this season, but we have been very dangerous on set pieces I expect this trend to continue until we are at our absolute best. We can expect the mood in the stadium to lift on every corner and free kick we get with the goals most likely coming from Cahill, Zouma and Willian.
