Radamel Falcao will be out until at least the middle of January after the Colombian striker has been hit with a setback in his recovery from injury.
Guus Hiddink told the BBC that Falcao had a recurrence of his most recent thigh injury in training and that he will be out for a further “10 days”.
“I think it’s back to square one. We had him in a game and he had this injury again that he had before. It’s the inside of his thigh. We hope within 10 days he might be fit again, though not to play.”

The Chelsea striker who is on loan from Monaco hasn’t featured for Chelsea since our defeat at Stamford Bridge to Liverpool on 31st October. He may struggle to get into the starting 11 once fit too with Diego Costa scoring a brace against Watford which may help him rediscover his form.
