Goalkeeper
Thibaut Courtois:Â The Belgian shot stopper returned to the starting XI against Bournemouth after a lengthy injury and will keep his place in the side to the expense of Asmir Begovic.
Defenders
RB – Branislav Ivanovic: Since returning from his injury, the Serbian full back looks to be getting back to his best, the club’s vice captain is one of Mourinho’s most trusted players so expect to see him in the starting XI on Monday night.
CB’s – Zouma + Terry: The centre-back partnership that won us the game against Porto in midweek, a strong performance against Porto prevent them from scoring any goals and knocking them out of the Champions league, Mourinho may stick with the pairing in an attempt to stop in form Jamie Vardy.
LB – Cesar Azpiliceuta: Mr Reliable, also known as Dave is one of the best full back’s in the league and is certain to keep his place at left back as Mourinho looks to keep Leicester talisman: Riyad Mahrez, quiet.
Midfielders
CDM’s – Ramires & Matic: The holding midfielder’s that were dominant against Porto look set to keep their place as Jose Mourinho has admitted that Cesc Fabregas has been under performing so the Spaniard could maintain his spot on the bench. Chelsea will need a quick, powerful midfielder that will try to keep Kante at bay and with Mourinho most likely not going to go with Loftus-Cheek then Ramires will be the man to start.
RM – Willian: This man doesn’t need an introduction.
CAM – Oscar: The Brazilian put in a strong defensive performance against Porto and created a few chances; Mourinho will stick with Oscar if Fabregas is dropped. Personally I think Oscar would suit a centre mid role in a 433 next to Ramires but Jose will stick with 4231.
LM – Eden Hazard: The Belgian magician looks to be getting back to his best but his goal drought is still in the back of his mind but after a MOTM performance against Porto and being named the UEFA Champions league team of the week, Mourinho will start with his star player and will hope he gets back to scoring form.
Striker
CF – Diego Costa: After apologizing to Mourinho after ‘attempting’ to throw his bib at Mourinho in the 0-0 draw at White Hart Lane the Brazilian born Spaniard looks to be back in Mourinho’s plans. Costa’s shire belief and determination was the main factor for Chelsea’s first goal against Porto and will hope to contribute more against Leicester.
