Manchester United 0-0 Chelsea – Player Ratings

Everyone worked hard against United and tried to press but we lost focus on a few occasions and Manchester United could have easily punished Chelsea at least 3 times. I guess lady luck is smiling on Chelsea again.

The result was fair at the end of the day considering the clear chances that were heroically palmed away by De Gea and Courtois. If I could pick the man of the match I would pick one of the goalkeepers.

Courtois – Made a terrific save in the second half and a couple more good saves throughout, always looked in control. 7

Ivanovic – Constantly given the run around by Martial, in the end was struggling to get near him. 4

Zouma – Had to put on the afterburners to keep up with Martial on one attack, won every 50-50 challenge initiated a few attacks was always a threat on set pieces. 6.5

Terry (c) – Solid at the back – kept Rooney quiet, and was very unlucky to not score from a Willian cross. 6.5

Azpilicueta – Usual self, worked hard, could of scored. 6

Mikel – Looked comfortable at times, tried to get forward. 6

Matic – Skied a clear opportunity, lost the ball way too much – another under par performance. 5

Willian – A very subdued performance from the Brazilian after a bad tackle, a few good set pieces. 6

Oscar – Didn’t realise he played the first half he was so anonymous, a bit better in the second half but not by much. 5

Pedro – Never gave up made some great runs and was always ready for the counter attack. 6

Hazard – Kept getting hacked down when bringing the ball forward, found it hard to stay up top as its not his natural position. 7

Subs

Ramires – Gave us a bit more pace but was probably on too late. 6

Loftus-Cheek – Feel sorry for him being introduced so late.
