One more manager added to Chelsea’s wish-list

Chelsea have found a new manager to put on their wish-list of managers to take over from new interim manager Guus Hiddink.

Massimiliano Allegri is a candidate to take over the role as Chelsea manager after Guss Hidfink if Chelsea fail to get either Pep Guardiola or Diego Simeone to join the club.

The current Juventus coach has caught the eye of the Chelsea hierarchy after he lead his team to a domestic double and to the Champions League final last season. In the past he has also won the Italian title with both AC Milan and Juventus.

The preferred candidates of Roman Abramovich still are Pep Guardiola and Diego Simeone with Massimiliano Allegri as an outsider and a back up plan with Guardiola also wanted by Manchester City.

Despite Juventus loosing key players Carlos Tevez, Andrea Pirlo and Arturo Vidal they have recovered from a poor start and have won their past seven matches and have moved within three points of current Serie A leaders Inter Milan.

Allegri signed a new deal at Juventus last season keeping at the Italian club until 2017.
