Pep Guardiola rejects Chelsea

Following the news that former Barcelona manager Pep Guardiola will be vacating his position at Bayern Munich in the summer, many Premier League teams – including Chelsea – were put on red alert.

Speaking in one of his press conferences, Guardiola revealed that his next job will be in England, when he leaves his position in Germany at the end of the current season.

The reason I’m not staying at Bayern is very simple — I want to coach in England in the Premier League.

The Spaniard is odds-on to join Manchester City in the summer, but Manchester United seem to be waiting in the wingers, attempting to lure him into Old Trafford.

If reports from The Sun are to be believed, Chelsea have already been told no by Guardiola and his representatives, with the West London side offering him the manager’s role at the Club, between Jose Mourinho’s sacking and Guus Hiddink’s temporary appointment.

AC Milan and Paris Saint-Germain are also clubs that have seen their offers for the Champions League winner rejected, with it getting more and more likely each day and that he’ll find himself at the Etihad Stadium next summer.
