Terry hasn’t ruled a late charge for top four

The Blues are unbeaten in seven games under Guus Hiddink and today’s win over Arsenal moves them up to 13th and to within 14 points of Tottenham Hotspur.

It’s a big three points and get us up the league. It was well needed as we’ve drawn too many of late. We had to come here and pick up three points.  Everyone is beating everyone this season. It’s a tough league this and if we put a good run together we have got a good chance [of reaching the top four]. We are not writing anything off. We will keep fighting until there are no points to play for.

Jamie Carragher feels they have given themselves too much to do.

“I don’t think they’ll get top four,” said the former Liverpool defender. “It’s too much of a gap.”

Graeme Souness is not writing them off just yet.

“They’ll have to go on a hell of a run but it’s not beyond them,” he said. “This are a group of guys used to winning.”
