Conte keen to bring Lazio winger to Chelsea for €30m

Antonio Candreva is set to be allowed to leave Lazio for €30 million, with Antonio Conte a keen admirer of the Italian international.

Corriere dello Sport have reported that Candreva’s relationship with the Lazio hierarchy has broken down mainly leading to not awarding him captaincy and its reported Candreva feels Lazio’s recent poor form is down to poor tactics from the coaching team.

Inter Milan are also keen on the Italy international however the €30 million price tag is set to be a major stumbling block with any move going to the San Siro looking unlikely with reports in Italy claiming Inter have had an €18 million offer snubbed by Lazio. However Inter are expected to make another offer in the summer according to calciomercato.

While reports in Italy claim that Candreva will be central in Italy’s Euro 2016 campaign in France this summer with reported next Chelsea manager Antonio Conte set to be keen on the player.
