Chelsea are growing very frustrated with Atletico Madrid, who are desperate to re-sign Diego Costa this summer, Telegraph reports.
Following the Spanish side’s increasingly public pursuits of attempting to lure Costa back, Chelsea are ready to issue Atletico with another warning over their actions.
Yesterday Atletico’s club president Enrique Cerezo reportedly told on an interview for Gazzamercato that the club are “close” of completing a deal for Diego Costa.
However, he later claimed the quotes to be untrue, but that hasn’t pulled Chelsea out of their plans to send a more strong-worded letter to the club.
According to MARCA, the Blues have already rejected a €60million bid for the 27-year-old from Atletico Madrid.

Diego Costa may have spent a frustrating second season at Stamford Bridge, but he has reportedly promised the new Chelsea boss Antonio Conte that he will do this everything to help the team reach success this season.
Despite already signing Michy Batshuayi from Marseille this summer, Conte is keen to add at least one more striker to his squad before the campaign kicks off in early August, as he’s likely to set a formation of two forwards at the club.
Real Madrid forward Alvaro Morata, who Conte signed back in the day at Juventus, is the Italian’s number one target as he believes the Spaniard could form the deadliest attacking partnership with Costa.
The Spanish giants already rejected a €60m bid from Chelsea and demand €80m for the 23-year-old, as the Blues have set an alternative in the 19-year-old wonder-kid Gabriel Barbosa, whose bidding war Chelsea could win over the likes of Juve and Arsenal.
