Tevez denies Chelsea rumors

Former Juventus, Manchester City and Manchester United striker Carlos Tevez has denied recent media reports linking him to a move away from Boca Juniors and to Chelsea Football Club per GOAL.

Speaking bluntly to the media on Monday, Tevez maintained his commitment to the club. “Of course I am staying at Boca. Everything else that is being said are just rumors,” Tevez said before adding “I am going to stay at Boca even if Napoli and Chelsea come knocking.”

Having left England for Italy after having off the field issues during his time in Manchester, the Argentinian striker has been playing for Boca Juniors since their 2015 campaign began and posted nine goals in 23 games while also recording four assists.

During his second stint with Boca Juniors, the 32-year-old striker has won the Primera Division and Copa Argentina since his arrival while most recently making the semi-finals of the Libertadores tournament.
