Chelsea striker heading out on loan

Chelsea striker Betrand Traore is set to be loaned out to Eredivisie side Ajax, in order to gain valuable, regular first-team football.

De Telegraaf has reported that Ajax’s Director of Football Marc Overmars has reached an agreement with the West London club to loan out Traore, who will replace Arek Milik in the starting XI, following the latter’s move to Italian side Napoli.

Burkina Faso international Traore was on top of new Ajax boss Peter Bosz’s wishlist, and knows all about the dynamic forward who impressed when given a chance for Chelsea last season, because of their time together at fellow Eredivisie side, Vitesse Arnhem.

The player in question is also said to be looking forward to returning to Holland, a country him and his family love. Another reason why the striker is on his way to Ajax.

The loan move in question would also enable the youngster to feature in this year’s UEFA Champions League for Ajax, and would gain huge experience during his time in Holland, and would be well prepared to come back to West London the following season.
