Matt Miazga set for Bundesliga switch

Chelsea’s young center-back Matt Miazga is set to make a loan move to Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt this summer, Sport BILD reports.

Chelsea signed the 21-year-old last January from New York Red Bulls on a four-and-a-half-year deal as he became the first ever American to join The Blues.

However the player only made two starts for the club last season, and he seems to be heading out already.

The United States international wasn’t part of Chelsea’s Open Day at Stamford Bridge today, and another Blues youngster Kenedy also missed the occasion.

It’s reported that the Brazilian will be also going out on loan before the start of the season, as it seems that the 20-year-old is not going to get a chance to prove himself in West London ahead of Eden Hazard, Willian, Pedro, Juan Cuadrado and Victor Moses.

Loic Remy was present in today’s event at the Bridge, despite he has also been linked with a move away from the club.
