According to Goal.com’s Brazilian counterpart, Medesto Rome – President of Santos FC – is currently in London to hold talks with Chelsea over the sale of their midfield prodigy.
Negotiations reportedly started a few weeks ago for the 19 year old, with the Blues ready to present a formal proposal for the midfielder who is currently away with Brazil’s Olympic squad as they contest for glory in their home nation.
Rumours have come out stating that Thiago Maia is set to name Giuliano Bertolucci as his new agent, a man who has a close relationship with the London club which could put Chelsea in the driving seat for Maia but may face tough competition in Paris Saint-Germain.
