Chelsea announced the official squad numbers for the 2016/17 season on Thursday.
David Luiz took up the No. 30 shirt as his preferred #4 is occupied by one Cesc Fabregas, with fellow deadline day signing Alonso picking up #3. We never really managed to adequately fill the #3 shirt since Ashley Cole left in 2014, lets hope Alonso manages to make a similar impact.
