Chelsea have been boosted in their pursuit for AS Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan after the player had a bust-up with the side’s manager Luciano Spalletti last weekend. Nainggolan was left furious towards his boss after the Italian subbed him off on the 84th minute of their most recent game against Atalanta, where the opposition side won the game with an injury-time goal to widen Roma’s margin to the league leaders Juventus to seven points.
According to Daily Star the Belgian could head into the exit from the Serie A outfit in January, but even if it happened, would Chelsea still be his destination?

The Blues were big favourites to sign Nainggolan last summer, but after as many as three rebuffed bids, Antonio Conte gave up on him and switched his target to N’Golo Kante, who he successfully captured from Leicester City.
Even though the Frenchman has been one of the team’s greatest players this season, Chelsea are still hoping to add the Roma midfielder to their ranks sooner or later.
Should this quarrel actually be a start to an unhealthy relationship between the two, Chelsea could hit the soft spot and have a go at one last offer to try their luck with the case. In the end, Nainggolan could very well be a perfect fit to Conte’s two-man-midfield.
