Chelsea star reveals that he is happy at the club amid exit rumours

Thibaut Courtois has revealed that he is happy at Chelsea, report the Daily Mail.

Amid rumours that Courtois was unhappy at Stamford Bridge, Courtois was quizzed by the Daily Mail about conversations he had with manager Antonio Conte when he joined the club. Courtois revealed: “I’m happy at Chelsea, so it wasn’t a problem for him to keep me or to say something so that I wanted to stay.”

Courtois’ form took a drastic turn for the worse last campaign, and there were suggestions that he wanted to return to the La Liga. He has now, though, confirmed that he is happy to stay with the Blues.

This will no doubt please the Chelsea faithful, as the Belgian has been revitalised so far this campaign. Courtois has kept five clean-sheets in his last five games and is currently the front-runner for the Premier League golden glove. Chelsea’s switch to a 3-4-3 system has plugged the holes in our leaking defence, and Courtois has majorly benefited.

It’s easy to forget that he is only 24-years-old, as he has achieved so much already. We hope that he will win plenty more during his time here.
