Chelsea star still wanted by Serie A clubs despite Antonio Conte’s notice

Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas is still a target for Serie A clubs Inter Milan, AC Milan and Juventus, despite the Blues boss Antonio Conte hailing the Spain international as an important figure for the team.

According to Spanish media outlet Fichajes, all three sides are prepared to make an offer for Fabregas this January. The player is keen on fighting for his position in the team, but since he’s barely making an outing at the moment, his head could turn when the transfer window opens.

Conte said the player is not going anywhere – and neither is Oscar – when the two players’ futures were questioned earlier this week.

Oscar’s future is Chelsea. Chelsea, full stop. For me, Oscar is an important player in the squad. He’s in good form. It’s logical I have to take the starting XI every week, but Oscar is a great player. For me, he stays at Chelsea.

It’s important that this message arrives for all. But Oscar will stay with us because I consider him an important player for Chelsea. Fabregas? Yes. Now he is in good shape. He’s available for Sunday, for sure. The same speech as for Oscar. I anticipate this question…
