Reece James, who has been at the Bridge since he was six, is apparently being watched by both Manchester United and RB Leipzig, the Red Bull-owned Bundesliga team making waves on the continent by buying and playing lots of young talent.
In the long term, James may have concerns about playing time at Stamford Bridge, where youngsters have struggled to get minutes or have been farmed out on loan and forgotten. But for now, Chelsea should have the financial power to ensure the 16 year old sticks around. The very fact that a club as shrewd as Leipzig are interested is very promising for James.
