Eden Hazard is set to make his 150th Premier League appearance after being named in the starting eleven for Chelsea’s Premier League clash with Middlesbrough this afternoon.
What a 150 games it has been too. From assisting Frank Lampard’s 200th Chelsea goal, to firing us to our third Premier League title, to failing to score a league goal until April 23rd. It has been memorable.
It is an exciting thought that there could be another 150 to come. Hazard is only 25-years-old, so his best days are presumably still ahead of him.
We have seen plenty of his best form in the opening stages of this season. The Belgian has found the back of the net seven times in our opening 11 Premier League games. If he continues at the rate he is scoring at currently, he will comfortably surpass his best ever single-season haul of 14 league goals. And who knows, he may just make us champions again.
