Victor Moses wins PFA Fans’ Player of the Month

It won’t surprise anyone to hear that Victor Moses has won the PFA Fans’ Player of the Month. The Nigerian wide man absolutely dominated the opposition in the fan voted poll, earning 18,756 votes from a total of over 40,000 according to Sky themselves.

This means that Moses came very close to getting more votes than the rest of the nominees combined – exactly as we predicted on this site yesterday. In fact Gylfi Sigurdsson, who came second in the poll, amassed only 7,791 votes.

After Chelsea’s outstanding recent run there are plenty of players who could have won the award from our squad. Pedro, Eden Hazard and Diego Costa have all made exceptional game winning contributions, and that’s not even considering our three centre backs, none of whom have put a foot wrong in what seems like months now.

It’s wonderful to see our team getting the appreciation they deserve for another great month, and nobody is more deserving than the hard working Moses who sealed the derby win against Tottenham.

Forza Victor.Let’s hope there’s more to come.
