Since re-signing for Chelsea in the summer, David Luiz has scarcely put a foot wrong.
At the heart of a defence that has conceded just one goal in their last seven Premier League games, our fuzzy-haired Brazilian deserves far more praise that he gets.
The media, unfortunately, only tend to find time to report Luiz’s mistakes, opposed to the mass amounts of positive things that he does on and off the football field.
Against Tottenham yesterday evening, he put in another stellar performance. After the game, he was videoed giving his shirt to a fan after every other player had left the field. What a lovable guy he is.
