Fiorentina winger Federico Bernardeschi is constantly being linked with a move to the Premier League, with Chelsea emerging as the latest club keen to make a €45m (£37.9m) offer for the player, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The former Azzurri boss Antonio Conte is a huge admirer of the player, who he gave his first national team cap after choosing him to Italy’s Euro 2016 this summer.
Last month the player was asked whether he’s planning on finishing his career at Fiorentina, and he reportedly said: “I am thinking about it, actually that’s a very strong thought.†However, the player is only 22-years-old and a lot could make his mind change in the coming months.
Chelsea have also expressed interest in Fiorentina midfielder Milan Badelj, but according to the latest reports, the Blues are set to face competition from Serie A side AC Milan. Reports in Italy are tipping Chelsea to clinch a deal for the 27-year-old Croatian in a £7m deal.
