Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has insisted the Blues fans not to blame Diego Costa should he fail to success by his normal standards when the league leaders face Hull City at Stamford Bridge tomorrow evening.
Costa has had a slightly different two weeks at the club as a mind-boggling offer from China resulted in a bust-up with the Italian manager, making the player fall out of Conte’s team selection against Leicester City last weekend.
However, he’s back, and so is the peace between them, and Costa is likely to start against the Tigers tomorrow according to Conte.
Every time he plays for Chelsea he always gives all of himself for this club, for this shirt. I know this. I am sure on Sunday if he starts the game he will put it everything on the pitch for the fans and help us win the game.
If he starts the game and is not concentrated the fault is mine. I [would have] made a bad choice because this week I didn’t see the player wasn’t focused or concentrated or was thinking about other situations.
Together we have to win against Hull City. It’s important for me, for the players, for the fans to focus on the game and take another three points.

Costa also missed the training sessions ahead of the Leicester fixture due to a back injury, but has recovered from it and is fit to play.
